Position: Fifth Grade Teacher (Homeroom Teacher)

Position to Begin August 2022
Terms: Full time
Salary: According to scale based on experience and education
Qualifications - The applicant must:
  • Have an NC Teaching License, Elementary education degree or be willing to complete coursework in education.
  • Be prepared to live out and model Catholic/Christian virtue;
  • Be positive, flexible, patient, and a team player;
  • Display solid communication skills;
  • Have a successful history of working with children, teachers and parents; experience working with students' special education needs is preferred.  
  • Teachers are required to attend scheduled meetings, contribute to committees, assist with student activities, and perform other supporting duties to further promote our mission.

Position: Teacher Instructional Assistant

Position to Begin August 2022
Terms: 40 hours per week  (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
Salary: $10.00 per hour
Qualifications - The applicant must:
  • Have a high school diploma (some college preferred);
  • Be prepared to live out and model Catholic/Christian virtue;
  • Be compassionate, energetic, responsible, and proactive as he or she may perform a wide range of tasks in order to support the efforts of the teacher and meet the needs of all students;
  • Have a successful history of working with children, teachers and parents; experience working with students' special education needs is preferred.  
  • In our inclusion setting, the Teacher Assistant is going room to room, serving students at varying grade levels and responding to individual needs identified by the classroom teacher or the special education teacher.  The Teacher Assistant provides individual assistance with academics, behavior, and social skills and may lead small group activities as directed.  The Teacher Assistant may also assist teachers with general housekeeping, clerical, and record-keeping duties.

Position: School Accounts Manager

Position to Begin July or August 2022
Terms: 27.5 Hours/Week
Salary: $15/Hourly
  • The School Accounts Manager will support the mission of the school and the work of the Parish School Accounting Services of the Diocese of Charlotte in the following ways:
  • Live out and model Catholic/Christian virtue
  • Ensure Compliance with Diocesan Financial Policies and Collaboration with PAS (Parish school Accounting Services)
  • Manage Accounts Payable, accurately coding all bookkeeping documents, and issues checks
  • Maintain Bank Account
  • Make Deposits
  • Maintain Payroll and Personnel Files (HR Support)
  • Monitor Credit Card and Amazon Prime Account
  • Share Monthly Financial Reports
  • Provide Budget Insights
  • Update and maintain information in FACTS Grant and Aid software
  • Create and manage accounts and agreements in FACTS Tuition and Billing software
  • Provide School Family Support and assistance with FACTS software and payments
  • Provide Office, School, and Parish Support

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated bookkeeping skills and strong computer skills
  • Attention to detail is required and essential; ability to prioritize, coordinate, and facilitate the completion of tasks
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required

Position:  Physical Education Teacher for grades PK-8 and Athletic Director 

(Oversees all PECSAA Athletics, including cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf, cheerleading, and track).

Position to Begin August 2022
Terms: Part Time  (85%)
Salary: According to scale based on experience and education
Qualifications - The applicant must:
  • Be positive, energetic, flexible, patient, and a team player;
  • Be prepared to live out and model Catholic/Christian virtue;
  • Display solid communication skills and faithful leadership;
  • Have a successful history of working with children, teachers and parents; experience working with students with special needs is preferred.  
  • To be successful as an Athletic Director, organization and communication are essential strengths.  This role will include collaborating with other PECSAA (Piedmont Elementary Catholic Schools Athletic Association) Athletics Directors, recruiting coaches, ensuring our coaches maintain our Catholic/Christian culture, scheduling try-outs and practices, scheduling facilities and referees, communicating try-outs and game schedules, taking leadership in maintaining athletics facilities and equipment, leading an athletics committee, coordinating volunteers, working with parent volunteers to lead the Athletics Booster Club, and coordinating athletics uniforms and spirit wear.
