After-School Care

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE (ASC)

Our After-School Care provides a safe, happy environment that parents can rely on throughout the school year. The ASC program, located in the school cafeteria, allows students to do complete homework, socialize, play, or safely wait for pick-up after their club activities.

Pick-up is located at the side of the building, facing the church. Parents or authorized pick-ups should use the side stairs, located between the front office and gym entrance on the side of the building. Please take the steps to the second floor landing and ring the doorbell for assistance.

COSTS & TIMES:

• Pre-K after-school care starts at 2:50 PM; Grades K- 8th start at 3:00 PM. 
• After-School Care also offers select half-day dismissal care until 6:00 PM.
• Parents are expected to pick up students no later than 6:00 PM. Late pick-up affects the staff, and a late fee will be charged at a rate of $5.00 per minute, per child. These fees will be charged for After-School Care, Camp Care, and After-Camp Care activities, if applicable.
• The annual fee for daily use of the service will be $2,340.00 for one child, payable over a nine-month period beginning in September, at a rate of $260.00 per month. 
• Each additional child is $190 per month.  
• The cost for using the ASC service on an occasional drop-in basis is $8.50 per hour PER CHILD for the 2024-2025 school year. 
• Emails will be sent out with registration links when Mini-Camps are posted.

During After-School Care, employees can be contacted at 336-938-0432. If you reach voicemail, that means we are likely in another part of the school, like the playground, library, or gym. In the case that you cannot reach us, we check the ASC voicemail between 5:45 pm and 6:00 pm every weekday.

Sample ASC Schedule:

PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN

• 2:50 - Check in
• 2:50-3:30 - Free time/Outside play (pick up outside, if it's raining or too hot, pick up in Cafeteria)
• 3:30-4:00 - Snack
• 4:00-4:30 - Educational Play - Homework time
• 4:30- 6:00- Free time Play  (pick up in cafeteria, gym, library, or playground; a sign will be on the ASC door if we have gone somewhere besides the cafeteria)

FIRST THROUGH EIGHTH 

• 3:00-3:20 - Check in
• 3:15-3:35 - Snack (pick up in cafeteria)
• 3:35- 4:00- Recess (pick up on playground)
• 4:00-4:45 - Homework Time (pick up in cafeteria)
• 4:45- 6:00 - Free time (pick up in cafeteria, gym, library, or playground; a sign will be on the ASC door if we have gone somewhere besides the cafeteria)
