BEFORE SCHOOL CARE (BSC)
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School will no longer be offering Before School Care due to low enrollment. Please plan accordingly.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE (ASC)
The annual fee for daily use of the service will be $2,250.00 (one child), payable over a nine-month period beginning in September, at a rate of $250.00 per month for one child. Each additional child is $180 per month. The cost for using the After School Care service on an occasional drop-in basis will be $8.25 per hour PER CHILD for the 2023-2024 school year.
Parents are expected to pick up students no later than 6:00 PM. Late pick-up causes an inconvenience to the staff and a late fee will be charged as follows: $5.00 per minute per child. Late pick up fees will be charged for After School Care, Camp Care, and After Camp Care activities if applicable.
The After School program provides a safe, happy environment with high quality service, which parents can rely upon throughout the school year. The After School Care program allows students to do their homework, socialize, play, or arrive after their club activity is over. After School Care is available Monday - Friday from 2:50 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. After Care is located in our cafeteria. Pick up is located at the side of the building leading towards the PLC. Use the side stairs which are located on the left side of the school. Please take the steps to the second floor landing and ring the doorbell for assistance.
Pre-K after school care starts at 2:50 pm. Grades k- 8th starts at 3:00pm. After School Care also offers the convenience during select half-day dismissals until 6:00 p.m. Emails will be sent out with registration links when Mini Camps are posted.
During After School Care, employees can be reached regarding students in 1st-8th grade at 336-938-0432. If you reach the voicemail, that means we have already left or we are in another area. Such as the Playgrounds, Library, or Gym. In the case that you cannot reach us, we check the ASC voicemail between 5:45 pm and 6:00 pm every weekday.
Sample Schedule for ASC:
Pre-K and Kindergarten:
2:50 - Check in
2:50-3:30 - Free time/Outside play (pick up outside, if it's raining or too hot, pick up in Cafeteria)
3:30-4:00 - Snack
4:00-4:30 - Educational Play - Homework time
4:30- 6:00- Free time Play (pick up in cafeteria, gym, library, or playground; a sign will be on the ASC door if we have gone somewhere besides the cafeteria)
First through Eighth Schedule:
3:00-3:20 - Check in
3:15-3:35 - Snack (pick up in cafeteria)
3:35- 4:00- Recess (pick up on playground)
4:00-4:45 - Homework Time (pick up in cafeteria)
4:45- 6:00 - Free time (pick up in cafeteria, gym, library, or playground; a sign will be on the ASC door if we have gone somewhere besides the cafeteria)
